Pashmeen and Barun first met in ninth grade at their new co-ed school. Pashmeen, known as one of the most desirable girls in school, caught Barun's attention and he would often find excuses to talk to her. Over time, they became good friends as they bonded over their shared experiences at the school.
After Pashmeen left for Australia to complete her education, she and Barun realized they were in love and chose to maintain their relationship despite the distance. In May 2019, Barun happily revealed that his wife was expecting a baby and later shared photos from their Baby Shower celebration. Their daughter, Sifat, was born on 28 June 2019 at 8.10pm. They chose the name Sifat for their newborn daughter.
Barun and his wife Pashmeen welcomed a baby boy on April 27, 2023. Despite not announcing the news on social media, Barun confirmed it when approached by a news portal. He mentioned being occupied with something at the moment and unable to discuss further.
