Christi shared in Season 1 that she was born to a young mother and had a difficult childhood, leading to a strained relationship with her mother. Due to this, she lived with her grandparents. Despite dreaming of a dance-filled life like Chloe's, Christi never had the chance to pursue it. Her father remains unknown. Christi mentioned in an interview that she had to secretly leave her house to attend cheerleading practice because her parents didn't approve.
According to TMZ, the Westmoreland County police report stated that Christi exhibited signs of intoxication such as bloodshot and glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol on her breath. The report mentioned that she confessed to drinking two glasses of wine before driving and tested positive on a preliminary breath test. Also, officers conducted field sobriety tests which indicated she was impaired and not fit to drive safely.
Christi, 47 years, is scheduled to attend a preliminary hearing on August 13. In past episodes of the show, she was frequently shown drinking wine with the other moms. One incident in season three led to her and her daughter being suspended from the dance team after an altercation while enjoying drinks in New Orleans.

Christi was born on March 3, 1977. She was a high school cheerleading squad captain who later got engaged to Marc on Christmas Eve 1998. Despite facing challenges in getting pregnant again after Chloe's birth, Christi never gave up and eventually welcomed her second child, Clara. In 2020, Christi began Adulting101 to assist young adults in transitioning into adulthood and also launched her podcast, Christi's Couch, at the end of the year.
When Chloe was a child, her mother Christi would pamper her by painting her nails and treating her to fun outings like trips to the water park and movies. Christi always made Chloe feel special by creating a welcoming atmosphere at home and going out of her way to make their time together memorable.
