Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Constable (Armed/IRP) and Constable (SDRF) positions need to have passed 10th grade, while those applying for Constable (Telecommunication) and Constable (Photographer) positions need to have passed 10+2 with Science.
Candidates applying for the Constable (Photographer) position must also have completed a 6-month computer course and have two years of experience in videography/photography. Candidates applying for the Constable Executive Police positions also need to have passed 10th grade.
Application Fee
Individuals belonging to the SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS categories are required to pay a fee of Rs 600 for the application process. For candidates in all other categories, including General and OBC, the application fee is Rs 700.
Salary
The pay scale for a J&K Constable is at Level 2, starting with a salary of Rs. 19900. Candidates will need to pass through three stages in order to be considered for the position of Constable within the Jammu & Kashmir Police department.
