The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star, who is 32 years old and who after years of being victimized by painful medical abuse played a role in the killing of her mother Dee Dee in 2015, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Ken Urker, 31.

On her YouTube channel, Gypsy disclosed that she is going through "crazy mood swings" and that she laments the fact that Ken has to deal with them.

Blanchard discusses some of the concerns that she has received from her followers. After that, she fell into an emotional state as she contemplated the possibility of being a loving mother to her child. 

The proposal was made by Urker in 2018, and the couple's relationship ended several years before she was released from prison in 2023. Blanchard was married to her ex-boyfriend Ryan Anderson at the time of her release from prison. Blanchard had married Anderson while she was jailed.

Blanchard received a letter from Ken Urker following the television documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, which was broadcast on HBO in 2017.

Ken stated in the documentary series that aired on Lifetime that the purpose of his first letter was to inform Gypsy that she had "support" outside of prison.

In due time, they began conversing over the phone for extended periods of time, and he kissed her the very first time he laid eyes on her while she was incarcerated.

As stated in her documentary series, Ken had the intention of allowing Gypsy some time to come to terms with who she was. He did not anticipate that she would move on with Ryan Anderson so quickly and marry him in June of 2022.

It is common knowledge that her relationship with Ryan, a teacher of special education, did not survive outside of the confines of the prison. He was accused of hoarding, "hovering," treating her like a "idiot," and being controlling during the early days of her freedom, when she was being filmed for her documentary series. She also accused him of being controlling.

Gaietan On July 9, 2024, Rose Blanchard, who was found guilty of assisting in the murder of her abusive mother, made the announcement that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, who was also her ex-fiancé.

The video was uploaded to YouTube. According to Gypsy, when she did not have her period, she initially believed that she was simply experiencing ongoing difficulties with ovulation. However, when she took a test, she discovered that she was pregnant.
