The Punjab National Bank has announced the release of its Apprentice notification, which includes important details like the registration schedule and exam date. According to the notification, interested candidates must apply online for the PNB Apprentices Recruitment 2024 by 14th July 2024. The online examination for all registered applicants is scheduled to take place on 28th July 2024.

Job Profile
The PNB Apprentice Job Profiles offer the opportunity to learn and assist in different banking tasks such as customer services and account opening. This is a training program that lasts for one year, during which apprentices receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 based on their location. It's important to note that this is not a permanent job but rather a stepping stone towards gaining valuable experience in the banking industry.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute by Government bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification should be declared on or before 30th June 2024. Additionally, candidates applying for training seats in a specific State/ UT must be proficient in the local language of that region.
Age Limit (as on 30/06/2024)
Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28 years old. They should have been born between June 30, 1996 and June 30, 2004. Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories may be eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the required application fee. This fee can be paid online using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, and UPI. It is important to note that once the fee is paid, it will not be refunded or reserved for any other exam or selection process. The application fees vary based on different categories, with PwBD applicants required to pay Rs.472/-, Female/SC/ST applicants Rs.708/-, and GEN/OBC applicants Rs.944/-.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of three stages: an online exam, a test of the local language, and a medical examination. Once selected, the training program will last for one year starting from the date of the contract.
