She started her career as a model
Rekha was born in New Delhi on October 23, 1995, attended Delhi Public School for her primary education and later pursued her higher education at Delhi University. She began her career as a model while still in college and went on to do various modelling assignments. She then transitioned into acting, making her debut in the Hindi TV series "Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai" in 2015. Sarkar also appeared as 'Monica' in the web series "Jassi King-The FAKR" and the TV series "Golden Hole," both of which were aired on Kooku in 2020.
She appeared in an episode of Crime Alert called ‘Samaj Sevika’ and also starred in the web series “Palang Tod” which was released on December 25, 2020, on the Ullu App. Later that year, she acted in another web series titled “Suno Devar Ji.”
She made his directorial debut with the TV series Devil Girl in 2020, which features Shakespeare S. Tripathy in the lead role. The show is inspired by the Japanese comedy film The Succulent Succubus from 2011. She has more than 230k followers on her Instagram handle @rekha_mona_sarkar. Currently, she resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
