Sadie Sink was born on April 16th, 2002 in Brenham, Texas, to parents Casey and Lori Sink. Despite her father being a rugby coach and her mother a math teacher, Sadie had no interest in sports and instead gravitated towards the performing arts. Lori Sink noticed her daughter's acting talent early on, as Sadie enjoyed reenacting scenes from movies like High School Musical.

Her passion for acting led her to land the lead role in The Secret Garden, despite being too young to audition. Her mother, Lori, enrolled her in a theater school in Houston where casting agents noticed her talent. This ultimately led to Sadie landing the titular role in Annie on Broadway, prompting the family to move to New York City to support her flourishing career.

Sadie Sink grew up with three older brothers, Mitchell, Caleb, and Spencer, as well as a younger sister named Jacey. Sadie family is from Brenham, Texas where she grew up. They all attended school together in Texas before moving to New York City to support Sadie during a Broadway show.

Together, they even appeared in Taylor Swift's All Too Well music video after being fascinated by Broadway and participating in community theater together.

Sadie Sink's parents are Casey Sink, an American teacher and coach and Lori Elizabeth Sink, a mathematics teacher. Casey has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Texas A&M University, as well as a master's in educational technology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
