They determined that the tiger claws on the chain were real and requested for Santosh to be handed over to them. After a brief period, Varthur Santosh was taken into custody by the forest department and left the Bigg Boss house.

The Deputy Conservator stated that possessing a tiger claw is against the law under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972. He cautioned that those found guilty of this offence could face a severe penalty of three to seven years in prison, given the critical status of tigers as an endangered species.
