Dennis Troper's wife, Susan Wojcicki, who was a former CEO of YouTube and long-time Google executive, sadly passed away at the age of 56 after battling lung cancer for two years. Known as one of Google's first employees, Susan Wojcicki was a major figure in the tech industry.

They first met when they were students at UCLA


Wojcicki and Troper's relationship began while they were both students at the University of California, Santa Cruz. They started off as friends and eventually became romantically involved, leading to their marriage on August 23, 1998.

Dennis expressed deep sorrow in a heartfelt Facebook post as he shared the passing of his wife, Susan. He included several photos of her as he announced her departure after bravely battling non-small cell lung cancer for 2 years. Dennis described Susan as his wife of 26 years and the loving mother of their five children.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. He then pursued further education and earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1993. Dennis began his career as a consultant at Deloitte and Concur before transitioning to a Senior Product Manager role at Oracle from 2001 to 2003.

In 2003, Troper began his career at Google as a Group Product Manager for Google Ads. Over the years, he transitioned into various leadership roles within the company, such as Director of Product Management for Google Workspace and Google My Business/Google +. Currently, he serves as the Director of Product Management overseeing Trust, Privacy, and User Data at Google.

Dennis Troper is one of the director at Camp Tawonga, a 95-year-old camp dubbed a leader in Jewish camping. He is originally from Costa Rica and later moved to the Bay Area where he was involved in the boards of the Anti-Defamation League and Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School.
