The Haryana Primary Teacher Recruitment 2024 has announced a total of 1456 vacancies for JBT Teacher posts. The vacancy distribution is as follows:
- General - 607 vacancies
- SC - 300 vacancies
- BCA - 242 vacancies
- BCB - 170 vacancies
- EWS - 71 vacancies
- ESM (General) - 50 vacancies
- ESM (SC) - 6 vacancies
- ESM (BCA) - 5 vacancies
- ESM (BCB) - 5 vacancies
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have their class 12th (Intermediate examination) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Those who have done their Class 10th with Hindi/Sanskrit or Class 12th/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects are also eligible for Haryana Primary Teacher posts.
Candidates who have qualified and have the certificate of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) are eligible for the released vacancies.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 42 years old. However, certain categories are eligible for age relaxations, such as SC and BC candidates who are eligible for a 5 year relaxation. Additionally, wives of disabled military personnel, widowed or legally divorced women, judicially separated women, and unmarried women are also eligible for a 5 year age relaxation.
Application Fees
The Haryana JBT Teacher Notification 2024 PDF includes information on the application fees for candidates of different categories. General category candidates outside of Haryana must pay Rs. 150, while female candidates from Haryana State must pay Rs. 75. Also, SC/EWS/BC residents of Haryana have to pay Rs. 35 (male) or Rs. 18 (female) for their application fees.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will start accepting applications for the Haryana JBT Teacher Recruitment 2024 on 12th August 2024. The online application link for Primary Teacher positions will be available on their official website.
